The Golf Course;
The 5 star golf course is tipped
to host the European Tour in the near future. The
course is endorsed by Peter Aliss and our European
Tour pro, Miguel Jimenez, who has just won the Hong
Kong Open and The PGA at Wentworth. The Hacienda Del
Alamo resort boasts a Dave Thomas designed 7,400 yard
Championship standard Golf Course, the longest in
Spain, which includes eight lakes and eighty four
manicured bunkers, palm trees and olive trees abound
the course, the sky is blue and the sun shines almost
every day. This course is guaranteed to be a joy and
a test for golfers of all standards. The Hacienda
del Alamo is sponsoring Prime time, every evening
on the Golf Channel from May 2007 onwards.
The
Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort is located next to
the town of Fuente Alamo
in the Murcia region of South East Spain. The resort
occupies a stunning 550 hectare site with the mountains
of the Sierra Espuna
National Park as a back drop. The Park is Spain’s
largest nature reserve, an ideal place for walking,
mountain biking, or simply enjoying the tranquility.
The
Golf Resort is situated between the Costa Calida Coast,
Mar Menor and the capital
Murcia, which means
it is ideally located to cater for both lovers of

the “La Hacienda” gourmet restaurant
and the lively Spaniard Inn which opens from 10am
daily, and hosts many events. The luxurious new
club house is now open
with Spike's bar and restaurant facilities. It has
a panoramic view of the Mar Menor and also has a
billiard room, cinema room and internet access,
card room games room, massage and physio facilities
and saunas. The Spanish Village with 47 shops, restaurants
and bars, with it's old fashioned cobbled streets
and street lamps is now complete and only a two
minute walk from the house. Hacienda del Alamo has

The
Hacienda Del Alamo Resort is served by two major
airports, Murcia Jan Javier (30 mins) and Alicante
(50 mins) and a new series of motorways that pass

town of Fuente is less than five minutes drive away
and boasts lively bars and restaurants. The historical
port of Mazzaron with
it's beautiful beaches is a 20 minute drive South.
The old Capital of Murcia with it's history and
fabulous shopping centre is approximately 25 minutes
drive, also the Port of Cartagena
now has many cruise ships calling there and also
is steeped in history and has many boutiques and
department stores, eg "El Corte Ingles"

The new MR2 motorway now speeds you to Cartagena
